OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL
Dorothy Fields and Martha
Jackson brought us some lovely
jonquils. We enjoyed having them
as they made us feel better to
have our room so pretty.
We have organized a “Happy
Walking Club” We go some
where every Wednesday afternoon,
because the weather is too good
for us to stay inside all the time.
Last Wednesday we walked to the
new waterworks. Everything was
beautiful and quiet out there and
we learned a lot about building
and nature study.
We are sorry that Harold Chan
dler has pneumonia, We miss him
in school and want him to get
well soon nad come back to his
classes.
Mr. J. F. Cannon, state super
visor of the Department of In
dustrial Iducation, visited us on
Monday, and Miss Ina Dee Pearce,
one of the teachers from the Sav
annah Opportunity School, visited
us on Tuesday. We like to have
visitors and hope they will come
to see us again soon.
