Pilgrimage to Liberty Hall To
Be Conducted By Georgia U.D.C.
On Wednesday, May 20, the
‘Georgia Division, United Daugh
ters of the Confederacy, will con
duct a pilgrimage to Liberty Hall,
Crawfordville, Ga., to pay homage
to Alexander H. Stephens, vice
president of the Confederacy, and
%o his niece, Mrs, Horace M. Hol
den and the late Judge Holden,
who for so many years labored so
patiently and untiringly to re
store Liberty Hall.
And now that their veurs of ¢f
fort have at last been realized, the
Georgia Division U. D. C. hag ar
ranged a program jin tribute to
their labor of love. The exercises
will be held in Liberty Hall and
will begin at 3 o'clock on the aft
ernoon of May 20. Mrs. Mildred V.

Plans For Vacation
School This Summer
Plang have been completed for
@ Daily Vacation Church School
at Oconee Street Methodist church
to begin June 15 and continue for
two weeks. Registration fee will
be 10 cents. All children of the
community are urged to register
at the parsonage June 8.
‘Worship, study and handicraft
will be taught by efficient Jeaders
Subjects will be “Exploring God's
Out-of-Doors,” “Living in Ow
Community,” and “Helping Boy:
Meet the Problem of Alcohol,” and
“Discovering God in the Beauti
£uyl.” All these studies are very
interesting and helpful for chil
dren. The school is asking co-op
