Mounting Daily
A two-hour session of the Elks-

terday afternoon brought contri

cash and a large quanity of food,
clothing, fuel and other articles
for distribution among the unfor

$45.00 in cash was brought to the
W'TFI studio. Yesterday's contribu
tions bring the cash total to ap
proximately $1200.00.
Principal gpeakers yesterday were
Mrs. Lollie Hutchins and Harry
L. Brown, director of extension for
the college of agriculture. Both
praised the aims of the Empty
‘Stocking Fund and congratulated
Athenians for the splendid response
they have made to the opportunity
to help others enjoy a happy
Christmas, :
Tonight's session, beginning at
8 o'clock, will be conducted by the
Boy Scouts with Alex Saye well
known young people’s religious

More and more people are listening
to the programs put on by Henry
Rosenthal, Lynne Brannen gnd Fire

be one of the best that has been
given since the radio session were
launched several days ago. The
Boy Scouts have arranged a very
entertaining program and Athen
