CHINESE LEADER DIES
AUGUSTA, Ga. —(#)— Augusia
mourned the death of John Lum,
82, Chinese leader and professor
of languages in a Chinese school.
‘He died in a hospital after an
illness of two weeks. Funeral ar
rangements will be announced af

lives in San Francisco. Lum took
an active part in civic work here,
and in affairs of the Baptist
