Dolores Martin Is
- Honored On Birthday
A lovely party of this past week
was the one at which Mrs, Al Wil
son entertained gt the home of her
mother on Prince avenue honoring
the fifth birthday anniversary of
her little niece, Dolores Martin.
Little Miss Dolores, wearing a
dainty pink net dress greeted her
guesys at the door and ushered
them into the living room where
games and songs were enjoyed.
After the games pretty little
Jane Wilson of Lawrenceville, Ga.,
brought in a wagon filled with the
gifts presented the honaree by the
invited guests.
Dolores invited her guests into
the dining room to enjoy the beau
tiful pink and white birthday cake,
holding five lighted candles. The
table held as its central decoration
a bowl of pink and white flowers
with pink burning taperg on each
side and vari-colored spring flow
ers were used throughout the
house,
fThe guests were served at in
dividual tables which were decor
ated the same as the cake table
Souvenirg of pink and white bas
kets filled with mmts, candy suck
ers and balloons were given the
twenty-five guests,
Mrs. Louise Hinton, Mrs. Harold
Wilson and Miss Frances Williams
of Lawrenceville assisted Mrs., Al
Wilson in entertaining the guests

Miss Louise Starr
Honored At Party
Miss Louise Starr, a charming
bride elect of June was the happy
inspiration of a lovely party Mon
day afternoon at the Parish House
when the Auxiliary of Emmanuel
church entertained in her honor.
A miscellaneous shower of exqui
site gifts expressed affection held
for the popular honoree, whose
'work in the church as a leader
and organizer has been outstand
ing.
That Miss Starr's marriage to
the Rev. John Robert Bill, 111 in
June to be solemnized in her old
home Charleston, takes from the
commnity a dearly beloved figure,
is regretted by the church and
her countiess friends made during
her gesidence in Athens.
The Parish house was never
more beautiful or radiant in the
wealth of gorgeous flowers mak
ing the colorful setting. Delicious
refreshment were served from the
handsomely appointed tea table,
the notable occasion marking a so
cial event of more than passing
interest.
