Bowers, assists in playing off
the school and city finals of the
mibs tourneys each year. Last
year finals were heid at the
‘Y’ with L. H. Cunningham as
director.
Members of the Y. M. C. A.
will assist with final games
Tuesday at Chass Street school.
Several hundred boys taking
part in the ‘Y’ playground
movement played in local tour
naments this season.

practice for several weeks.
Mr. Grier and his 'teachers
again cooperated 100 percent

In the eveninz all members of
the party, usually consisting of
more than 300, go to Grant Park
for a hot dog supper and the sky
is the limit. Many eat more than
a dozen.
It is really the treat of the sea
son and {wo = Athens youngstels
will make the trip. Last year ap
proximately 2,000 boys took part
in marble games here, and almost
that number tried their luck in
1938.
