Give Her Perfume
For A Valentine
Perfume is the language of love!
A gift of ‘perfume from “boy”
to “girl” on any day of the year
is the perfect tribute. And when
the gift comes on St. Valentine’s
Day, it is the most romaic ges
ture a man can make-short of
proposal.
Perfume speaks for the man -
and to the woman have clung to
since Cleopatra’s time.
Because it is so personal, per
fume must blend into and take on
some of the character and per
sonality of the 'wearer. Here the
blending of a perfume becomes
a great art. To create a perfume
which not only complements your
own make-up but also maks your
personality scientillate, requires a
master’s hand as well as a great
stane is aimmagination.
Performer Renoir knows young,
capricious fragrance with a gaiety
of its own. Yet, it blends so deftly
with you that it takes on an ex
tra lilting air, making the perfume
your very own.
My Alibi is an after-dark per
fume which is as elusive as a
shadow and as intriguing as a fan
tasy. But it is you who brings out
its quality and makes it a heady,
disturbing scent that will keep
haunting your admirers for a long,
long time.
As you must be wise in choos
ing your perfume, so must you
be artful in applying it. Spot it
discrectly about your person,
rathsr than large ‘doses on gar
ments.

Hitler might have had an atomic
bomb if he hadn’t persecuted
Jews, and among them, Dr. Lise
Meitner, eminent Austrian phys
icist. While engaged on atomic
research, with the splitting of
the atom within her grasp, she
was exiled from Germany as
non-Aryan, She is credited with
providing critical data which
greatly aided Allied scientists in
speeding production of the
atomic bomb. Dr. Meitner i
