“I had to force down whatever

“Retonga brought me grand re-

insecticides and prepared batchesl
of poisons should be stored so that
pets and other animals cannot lickl
them.” °’ :
Empty bags which contained in
secticide materials should be burn

said. Arsenical containers must be
burned in open air and care taken
to prevent persons and animals
from being exposed to the fumes.
Unused or discarded insecticides
should be buried at least one foot
below the surface of the ground
and away from water supply or
drainage areas. :
“Garden products should be
washed thoroughly to remove any
residue of the insecticides from the
harvested products,” Ragsdale
added.
: AIR FARE CUT
WASHINGTON, June 28— (AP)
—Atlantic Airlines proposed to
the Civil Aeronautics Board today
route with a three and one-half
cents a mile fare compared with
an existing four and one-half
cents rate.
~ Atlantic 1s one of 15 carriers
seeking all or a part of proposed
inew route between Boston and
New Orleans.
The three and ane-half ceat fare
would cover ground as well as air
mileage, Don Watson, Washington
economist testified, after saying
the. c@mpany” plans airport-to
business-section bus service. He
said the proposed rate compares
with an average of 5.71 cents a
mile on established airlines when
lground travel costs are consider
led.
