Children’s Service
Sunday A. M. At
Prince Ave. Church
A service in which children will
be dedicated to the Lord and Par
ents ask Divine blessings and
guidance as they seek to rear their
children will- be held at the
Prince Avenue Baptist church
S;mday at the eleven o'clock ser
vice. -
This is an unusual service in a
Baptist church and the pastor the
Rev. T. R. Harvill says, “We do
not believe in nor practice infant
baptism but we do believe in
presenting our children to the
Lerd and asking Divine guidance
as we seek to rear them in the
fear and admonitioi: of the Lord.
Jesus was PRESENTED in the
temple and we believe in following
his example. Several parents have
requested this service and we
invite others who believe in PRE
SENTING their children and ask
ing Divine guidance to share the
inspiration of this hour with us by
bringing their children and de
dicating them to the Lord.”
Following the dedicatory ser
vice which will come shortly after
eleven o’clock mothers will take
their little ones to the nursery of
the church where they will be
cared for while parents attend the
remainder of the worship ser
vices.
