Fngagement Of Miss Dorma J. Fayssoux
And Mr. Lee C. Bowden Announced Today
Mr. and Mrs. Rhea Fayssoux
of Atlanta, announce the engage
ment of their daughier, Miss
Dorma Jean Fayssoux, to Lee
Cornelius Bowden of Athens. The
marriage will take place Septem
per 10 at 8 p. m. in Peachtree
Christian Church. "« :
The bride-elect’s mother is the
former Miss Dorma Blitchington,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B.
Blitchington, Sr., of Augusta. Her
paternal grandparents are the
late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Fayssoux
of Gastonia, N. C.
Miss Fayssoux was graduated
from North Fulton High School
and at present is attending the
University of Georgia where she
will receive her A. B. degree in
August. She is a member of Al
pha Omicron Pi social sorority.
The groom-elect is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lee C. Bowden,
his mother being the former Miss
Thelma Willimason, daughter of
Mrs. J. P. Williamson and the
late Mr. Williamson of Jackson
county. His paternal grandpar
ents are the late Mr. and Ns.
F. H. Bowden of Athens. :

Held July 25 . \
In Lexington, Ga.
The Cartledge reunion was
held Sunday, July 256 at the home
ui Mr. ana Mrs. R. W. Cartledge, |
Lexington, Georgia. There were
about one hundred present in
cluding uncles, aunts, cousins,
and friends. At the noon hour a
pountiful lunch was spread on a
long table in the shade of the
trees in the yard. This was in
ldecd a wonderful day for all
present and we are looking for
ward to meeting again the fourth:
