With the exception of a few brilliant runs Georgia looked
not too impressive in licking Furman 33 to O on Sanford Field
Saturday before 17,000.
The Purple Hurricans harried the Bulldogs plenty throughout
the first half and left the field giving up only one touchdown.
Georgia’s reserve strength became a telling factor in the second
and Mixon, Tillitski, and Donaldson showed fancy broken field
footwork that boosted Ceorgia spirits considerably. Upon sev
eral occasions Georgia looked as if they were jumping aboard a
bowl! bound train.

COACH BUTTS summed up the Bulldog effort in six words,
“Some of our boys do crazy things''.
GUY TILLER of the Journal summed up the game with, “‘Geor
gia fiddled while Wally Butts burned for three quarters and then
the Bulldogs struck with three lightning touchdowns.” ;
BOZO CLODFELLER, the Banner-Herald football expert, re
ports that there were 15 binocular lenses trained on the Georgia
team s€attered throughout the stadium. Such a statement could
mean there were seven two eyed scouts and one one-eyed scout.
Evidently the one eyed scout was sent to report.on ONE POINT
