Series Of Meetings
The November meeting of Col
bert W. S. C. S. was held in the
home of Mrs. W. R. Huggins, In
the absence of the president,
Mrs. Maude Buchanan presided.
The meeting was opened with
the song, “I Must Tell Jesus,”
followed by the Lord’s Prayer
Plans were made for a pantry
shower at the Methodist orphan
age. The date was announced for
a Missior Study to be held in
the home of Mrs. J, K. Brook
shire.
Mrs. Richard McElroy present
ed the spiritual life message, us
ing the 103rd Psalm as the scrip
ture with the members reading
it responsively. “Praise Him”
was sung by the group, followed
by a series of sentence prayers.
In closing her part of the pro
gram, Mrs. McElroy read ‘“The
Incomparable Christ.”
Mrs. Frank Veale presented
the program, the subject being
“Dawn Brightens in Korea.”
“Light of thg World” was,sung
after whnich = the following pre
sented topics: Mesdames Phil
Hardman, Billy Hardman, J. C.
Hardman and Raymond West.
The December meeting will be
held with Mrs. Billy Hardman,
one week earlier than scheduled
meeting. .

after which a special collection
was taken as Mrs. Huggins sang
