event. Dinner will be served in
the basement of Bethesda
Church at 7:00 o’clock, the regu

non-technical demeonstration is
sponsored by Sigma Pi Sigma,
physics honor society, and will
be held in Room 201 of the
Physics Building on the Univer

Geiger counters, polarized light,
photography, smoke rings, and

Attend the revival services
now being held at the First
Presbyterian Church. Dr. Dan

Miami, is conducting the serv
ices, each morning, 7:30 and each
evening 8 o'clock. The services
will conclude on Sunday, May

The Garden Clubs of Elberton
will sponsor a flower show on
Wednesday afternoon, May 25th

Miss "Cinnamon Bun'’
Is Wed Here Today
The most unusual wedding
of the year took place at Ben
son’s Retail Bakery today at
high noon when the beautiful
bride, “Cinnamon Bun’’ and
her handsome groom, “Dan
French Bread,” were united in
marriage. They are made com
pletely of French bread, the
loat being the original shape
but larger in size.
The bride's face is iced with
cinnamon roll icing. She has
blugshing pink cheeks with
raisin eyes and red lips. Her
veilrof French illusion is edged
with lace d forms a long
train. She is carrying a bridé's
wouyuet of pnk tlowres.
The groom has raisin eyes
and mouth. He has a white
collar and a black tie with
raisin buttons on his coat, and
is wearing an opera hat.
The couple took their honey
moon in an old-fashioned cov
ered wagon made completely
of bread. They are at home to
their friends in the window at
225 North Lumpkin.
George Cress of the Art De
partment of the University of
Georgia is having a one man
show at the gallery in the At
lanta Division of the University
of Georgia, the exhibition will
continue through May 20.
The Friendship Class of Prince
Avenue Baptist Church will
have a picnic Saturday at the
Church Annex. Supper will be
served at 7 o’clock and all mem
bers and their families are in
vited to come and bring a picnic
lunch.

Class of Central Presbyterian
Church, will hold its regular

of the Shorter College yearbook,
the Argo, as the most representa
tive freshman. She was awarded
this honor by a vote of the fresh
man class.
Miss Hubert is the daughter of

466 Highland Ave., and is a mem
ber of the Eunomian Society at
