imposed rules but rather rules
the individual is asked to adopt
as his own, for his own safety
and the safety of others. “Learn
and Obey Farm Safety Rules” is
the theme of the whole effort,
Falls are the most frequent
cause of farm accidents, the
County Agent continued, Two of
the safety rules that apply par-~
ticularly to prevention of injuries
from falls are: (1) Keep walk
ways and steps in good repair,
unobstructed, and well lighted;
and (2) Keep ladders in good
repair and easily accessible in
case of emergency.
