BLOOMINGTON, ILL.—(AP)—
The bus pulled out of the station
with H. E. Holmes’ wallet contain
ing more than SI,OOO still on the
seat he occupied.
At 4 a. m, the pus station em
ployees got in touch with the
sheriff’s office, the sheriff’s office
got state police headquarters at
Pontiac. At 4:37 a. m. the state
police reported they found the
billfold on the bus. It contained
$1,500 in money orders, a $35
check and between $25 and S3O in
cash. .
A half hour later Holmes picked
up his money.
