Canned TV
The Ritz Brothers, who have ve
toed all TV ideas proposed to
them, have now decided on a
filmed show from Hollywood —
patterned after the techniques in
troduced by Lucille Ball and Desi
Arnaz in their “I Love Lucy”
package. They play it live to an
audience but it's on film when it
hits the TV screen.

Good Reaction
A sneak preview of “Love Is
Better Than Ever,” Larry Parks’

Taylor, was held in a town just
outside of Hollywood recently and
Larry reports that public reaction
to his appearants on the screen
was ‘“‘good.”
“At least that's what I've heard
from some fans who were there,”
Larry told me. “I've had no offi

Betty Garrett, who has elected
to stay away from the Hollywood
sound stages until her husband
resumes his career, smiled happily
while Larry continued:
“T've received a lot of wonder

485 letters, there were only nine
bad ones. The encouraging letters
were nice to get, believe me.”

- Rear—Adm. Eaton said the flat
