of Kalamazoo, Mich., was unceremoniously transferred from the
Korea battlefront and discharged last November when the Army
discovered he was only 16. Undaunted, Dixon vowed to re-enlist
when he became 17. He is seen being sworn in by Sgt. Charles
Gross on the day after his 17th birthday. Sergeant Gross says
he will get the combat duty he has requested.
