Founder’s Day and Centennial at a ban
quet held at the Athens Country Club.

Ladies’ Auxiliary of Post 185
will sponsor a spaghetti supper
on March 19 at the club house
on the Atlanta Highway. Plates
will be one dollar each and
supper is to be served from 7
to 9 p. m. The proceeds will be
used for the Welfare Fund and

Class at the University of Georgia
School of Journalism.
The play was first presented oy
the air in 1949 by the University
Theatre On-The-Air Group, and
was written by Austin Saxon ther
a student at the University., Tha
story is that of a young wanderer
who stumbles onto a couple of
'49ers prospecting for gold . . . but
100 years late.
