Section meeting, which will be
held in the Gold Room of the De- |

dresses by Dr. Maude Williamson,
professor of home economics at
Florida State College, Tallahassee,
and Dr. Mary Speirs, head of the
Home Economics Department at
the Georgia Experiment Station,
Griffin. Dr. Williamson will speak
on “Better International Under
standing Through Homemaking
Education.” Dr. Speirs will speak
on “Some Fad Aspects of Reduc
ing.” Don Sloan of Buffalo, N. Y.,
will give an illustrated lecture on
“Trends in Equipping Homemak-
Ing Departments.” There is much
current interest in this topic be
cause of Georgia’'s new school
building program and the need for
planning the new homemaking de~
partments that are being included
in these schools, A panel discus
sion on the American Vocational
Association will be given by Miss
