IN RACCOONS
OMAHA —(AP)— “They are so
playful,” explained Mrs. Alvin G.
Konvalin, referring to the seven
baby raccoons for whom she is
now playing “housemother.”
Her husband got them from a
farmer who had been given the
young animals as a joke. She feeds
them from a baby’s bottle which
the raccoon takes lying on his back
with all fours grasping the bottle.
Her 2%-year-old son takes them
for rides on his tricycle.

An “electric bar cutter” oblig

A “harmless pencil,” with a vi
