U. S. Navy, Florida, was a visitor

Hugh Lord, of Augusta, and

morning. The latter came over in
interest of the Jackson County
Singing Convention, conferring
with the secretary.
Mrs. Ellis Minish and a friend,
of Commerce, were among the
visitors here during last week, the
guests of friends.
Mrs. Ralph Greene and Miss
Lautrelle Barnett were visiting in
Commerce Sunday afternoon,
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Greene.
Week-end guests of Mr, and
Mrs., Watson Fleeman were Mrs,
W. W. Mezlor, Mr. and Mrs. D. L.
Mealor, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Poe,
of Commerce.
Mrs. Florence Evans and chil

MISPAH SUNDAY

which was held at the Mispah
Presbyterian Church on Sunday,
June 29, Visitors were also pres
ent fror‘n Scuth Carolina and Flor

This was an all-day affair and
the citizens OE that community are
commended. updrn the splendid en
tertainment they showered upon |
the visitors. There were not so
many leaders present, but the
sihging was grand. The highlight
of the day was the Seneca Quar
tet of South Carolina. It was very
commendable. : |
This choir accepted an inyita
tion to meet with the Wainut Bap
tist Church on the fifth Sunday in
August. Plans are being made for
another song service and everyone
is° invited.

X-RAY CAN FIND STONE
The loeation of the stone ean be
discovered by proper equipment
and the use of the X-ray. It
is possible to assist in the passage
of the stone by oiling, or even
surgery may be necessary. When
the pain is severe, the patient must
be given relief, and this involves
the use of pain-killing drugs,
sometimes in large quantities.
It is important to know what
kind of stones are involved—in
other words, the chemistry—so
that the doctor can tell which
