Two Pittsburg Laborers Meet with
Horrible Death-Three Others Injured.
PittsbrUG,Pa.,ffuly 17.—At 6 o’clock
this morning the mud bank over the
well of the Soho street sewer gave way,
and 1 five workmen, who were trying to
loosen a mass of debris from *below,
were caught in the rush of

the mouth of the sewer with two coils
of fire hose about his neck. Andrew
N. McGregor died at 8 o’clock this
morning. Robert Alunn, foreman, was

Joseph McCarthy were terrible bruised.
The bodies of the victims were terri
bly mutillnted by being dashed from
