Minister Jftlnzet Addressed the Costa Kleans ii! ;i Xsinner ng to Mexico. Washington, Nov. 5.—M.'Romero, the Mexi. an minis* ?r, hurriedly re turned to Washington from the pan- American excursion. His visit is in connection with the alleged protest of his government against the presentation speech at Costa Rica of United States Minister Mizner to the Central Ameri can states. That part of the speech to which objection appears to have arisen is as follows: “The states of Central America must unite. A strong federal government is your only salvation. Colombia is mass ing her troop3 on the southern border of Costa Rica; 'Mexico has a covetous ey« on Guatemala. It will be only a short time before Colombia will seek to seizi your state, and Mexico will seize Guate mala. Central America, will be blotted from the map of independence and her identity sunk in that of Colombia and Mexico. The time is drawing near, and only the most energetic action in feder ating Central America can save your freedom.’’ Senor Romero says the affair has been satisfactorily settled and no interna tional dispute will arise. dead; Progress of the Search for ’.Bodies—Tile Fur'l Keiuhos ?> 12,000.
