Mrs. Edgeworth Lamkin will en tertain on Thursday afternoon with a very small bridge party in honor of Mrs. Hammond Johnson, of—Norfolk, Va., who i* visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billups Phinizy, on Milledge avenue. The suburban home of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Lamkin, on the Jefferson road, will be artistically decorated for the occasion with bright hued autumn leaves. The guests have been asked to as- eemble at 3:30 o’clock and there will be ■only three tables of players pres ent. The little party is to be quite informal, and it will be a graceful compliment to the honoree who was that the members "chip in” and send a substantial wedding gift to her, His proposal was taken up with ac claim, and Speaker Clark announced that he would appoint a committee to arrange the details. The gift will probably be a pearl necklace. ksru JUNIOR CABINET BEAUTIFULLY’ ENTERTAINED. The Junior Cabinet was delightfully entertained on Monday evening by Mr. Grafts, one of its members.
