best Life Insurance Company
ever organized in the South.
THE COSMOPOLITAN was
organized in the open, with all
eyes on it. What our assets are;

paid for them; what they are
worth and why, are all matters
of public record.
We have no secrets, no reason
for secrecy of any kind. We
are doing business in public..
Every stockholder, policyholder,
agent, in fact, every person in
terested in this Company is
welcome, at all times, to the
offices of the Company to see
any book or record covering
any transaction. The only
things we keep private in con

Who Are of the South’s Greatest Institutions
Comprise the Directorate of
THE COSMOPOUTAN LIFE INSURANCE CO.
of Atlanta, Qa.
JAMES 0. WYNN, Prfsidwt.
Mr. Wynn was for years intimately associated with Sheppard Homans, compiler of the Ameri
can Table of Mortality, and one of the greatest actuaries the world has yet produced. Study under
such a master afforded great opportunity to acquire knowledge of the scientific side of Life Insur
ance. He was also Southeastern Manager of the company headed by Mr. Homans, and thus became
familiar with agency problems.
Then, for seven years, as Southern Manager for the Prudential, Mr. Wynn guided the desti
nies of that great company in the South. Hardly known in this section when he took the reins,
The Prudential has today in Georgia alone nearly fifteen millions of business in force.
The man who brought The Prudential to the South is now building in the South, on sound
and firm foundations, a great Southern Company. The same knowledge born of experience, the
same ability, and the same energy are applied to this mighty purpose, and THE COSMOPOLITAN
is rapidly forging to the front rank in the business. §
Headed by the best known life insurance authority in tho South, backed by Southern men,
Southern money, and Southern brains, the scientific and the practical conjoined to one great end,
THE COSMOPOLITAN seeks the justly earned title of ‘‘The Great Southern Company.”

an authority on the science of life insurance. Like Mr. Wynn, an indefatigable worker, conservative
but progressive, the Judge has proved his ability as an organizer, systematizer and vitalizer. As a

and honest, conservative business methods, and he is cooperating with Mr. Wynn in the upbuilding of a
great life insurance company in the South.

his personality to the creation of a great Southern life
Insurance Company.

These men are not dummy officers; they are all of them actively in touch with the Company’s
management and affairs. They have their own money in the business, and while they expect good
returns eventually on their investment,- they entered this business with the determination to establish
and maintain a Life Insurance Company in Georgia that would command the respect of Georgia
people and that would keep Georgia insurance money in Georgia.
Some people might call this patriotism; we caH it good business judgment.
