Mr. Virgil E. Heard, of Houston
county, lost his seoond wife Sunday
morning- He is a nephew of Mr.
J. P. Heard of this plaoo. V irgil
is only thirty two or threo years old
and twioe a widower with his first
wife’s children and an infant a week
-old left by his last wife. Tho hand
of fate is hearing down heavily npon
him. She was buried at Perry in
her wedding dress eleven months
from the day sho was a bride.
