Since becoming a candidate for
nomination to the offioe of Solioitor
General of the South-Western
Judical Cirouit, it has been my
purpose and I have endeavored to
meet face to face as nearly
as possible with all of tho voters of
the Cirouit, which I perferred to the
method of general letter writing.
The Primary, however, having been
fixed for suoh an early date, renders
it impossible for me to fully ac
complish this purpose, and I there
fore respeotfully ask the privilege
