Mitchell Saturday night and her noble spirit took its flight to a better world. Mrs. Swearingen was a well know® and highly respeoted woman; ' She was a strict member of the Methodist church, a- true ohristian, a loving wife and devoted mother. She leaves a heart-broken husband and eight children, one brother and sister and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death.. A goood woman has gone to her reward -and will be greatly missed by her church and community. Tne bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community in their bereave ment. Her remains were interred in the family burial ground Sunday morning.at 11 o'clock the funeral servioes were conducted by Rev; W. Lane. L L Harain of Coney was here last Thursday.
