Mrs. Anna Ellison of Vienna and Mr. Whit Horne of Cordele were married this evening and will leave tonight for St. Louis. The crops arc looking very nice since wo’vo had many good rams. Several "people in this community attended services at Zion Hill Sun day conducted by tho boy preacher Mel/, Joiner. Mrs 0|a Ward and daughters Miss Mollie and Nettie attended services at Smyrna Saturday and Sunday. Mr. R E Ward and family spent Sunday with Mr. Tom Murphy and family. Mr. Plaes -Sims spent Sunday night and Monday with relatives in this community. Misses Carrie and N ina Murphy spent Sunday night with Misses Rnliy and Sallio Ward. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Ward spent Monday night in Cordele witn rela tives. Mr. Pat Ward and wife spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Akins. Miss Georgia Murray has been spending a few days with her sister Mrs. Mattie Hudgins. Mrs! Christmas and Mis« Mattie Smith spent Sunday with tho family of Mr. David Gamble- i YEARLY MEETING Tho yearly meeting of the Prim itive Baptist church at old Cross Roads, now enlied Mt, Bezar, was held Sunday. Elder P G MoDonald was assisted by Elders Lord and Spillers. The ordinance of tho Lord's Supper and the washing of feet was conducted according to the faith and order of that church. After sorvioe, dinner was announced and onjoyed by the congregation, there being plenty and to spare and everybody invited. Watermelons were also plentiful, cool and free. The church at old Mt.
