his briok warehouse to a company
composed of W. T. McDonald, G.
L. Bush and W. E. O’Neal. They
have not decided what the new firm
name will bo. Tho price paid for

The prohibition election in Ma-

first report was that the county had
voted to keep ljquor by a majority

NEW COUNTIES.
Tuesday’s Macon Telegraph says:
Several members of the oommittees
coming trom Dooly, Worth, Wil
cox and Irwin counties were here
yesterday, but there had been some
further delay, and nothing was
done yesterday on nocount of tho
failure to show up at the appointed
heur of noon.
The appointment was made last
week and those who came did not
understand why the delay lmd been
made. ’ Ono man from Cordele, one
from Hazlehurst and four from
Barnesville remained in Macon uu
til yesterday afternoon and returned
borne. One member remains until
this morning, when he also will
leave.
No information was had from the
members of oounty committees re
maining behind and no one could
state what further aotion will be
taken.
Mr. J* F. Moore, who came from
Hazlehurot stated yesterday after
noon that he hod expected to meet
prominent men from Atlanta also
on the occasion, He failed, how
ever, ana could not locate the men
coining from Cordele, Vienna, Ash.

MARRIAGE.
Miss Luoy Belle Harvard is at
home to get married. The luoky
man is Mr. Charles Beaty, a promi
nent dry goods merchant of Moul
trie. They will be married next
Wednosday evening, the 17th, at 6
o'clock, and will leave immediately
for Baltimore and New York by
stoamor from Savannah.
Miss Harvard is a Dooly girl,
laughter of the late Whit Harvard.
She is a telegraph operator, and has
been holding a position at Moultrie
