FIRE.
Monday afternoon the town was
alarmed by the loud ringing of the
Henderson house dinner hell and
cries of tire from the southwest
corner of our public square. There
have been several disatrolls tires
in Cleveland within the last year,
and the hell ringing and erics soon
brought an army of men to the
place—a burn situated immedi
ately behind the Hunt house now
occupied by Char. McAfee.
The tire started in a lot of straw
andfo ldernnd spread rapidly, had
it not been for the large number
of men present the building would
have been consumed and would
have probably set other houses
near by, on tire.
Kvcry well in town was drawn
upon for water by the heroic men
who handled the buckets.
Some of our citizen are of the
opinion that the tire was of incend
iary origin while others think that
il was caused bv children playing
in the ham with matches.

There is more Catarrh in this
section of the country than all
other diseases put together, and
until the last few years was sup
posed to he incurable. For a
great many years doctors pro
nounced it a local disease, and
prescribed local remedies, and by
constantly failing to cure with
local treatment, pronounced it
incurable. Science has proven
catarrh to be a constitutional
disease, and therefore requires
constitutional treatment. Hull’s

They Have a Bonanza
It seems the owners of
Drummond's Lightning Uetnedy
for Rheumatism have a Bonanza,
as their remedy has never been
known to fail in it single ease.
There is certainly room in the
market for a medicine that will
do what they claim for this won
derful preparation. Although
the price is 4»5 per bottle if it does
one half claimed for it the price
should be * 100. If the, druggist
has not got il, the remedy will
be sent to any addiess by prepaid
express on receipt of price.
