When this source is corrupted the painful effects are visible in many shapes, prominent among which is SCROFULA. This is a taint or infection of the human organism, and probably no one is wholly free from it. It exhibits itself in various shapes—as Ulcers and Sores, Decayed Bones, Diseased Scalp, Sore Eyes, Weak and Diseas ed Joints, St. Vitus’ Dance, Foul Discharg es from the Nostrils, Eruptions, Glandular Swellings, Throat Affeetions, Rheumatism, Heart Affections, Nervous Disorders, Bar renness, Disorders of the Womb, Dropsy. Syphillitic Affections, Liver Complaint, Salt Rheum, Dyspepsia, Neuralgia, Loss of Man hood and General Debility. It has been the custom to treat these dis eases with Mercury and other Mineral sub stances, which, though sometimes producing a cure, often prove injurious and entails misery in after life. The long known inju rious properties of these so-called alteratives and purifiers has led the philanthropical man of scienee to explore the arena of na ture, the result of which has been the discov cry of vegetable products which possess the power of eradicating these Taints from the Blood. Dr. TUTT’S Compound Extract Os Sarparilla and Queen’s Delight. Is the acknowledged antidote to all Blood Diseases. By its use the afflictions above enumerated can be permanently banished, and the Sonrce—the Centre of Life—the Blood. be maintained in all its purity and vigor. For Diseases produced by tlie use of Mercury, and for Sypleillis, with its train of evils, this com pound is the only sure antidote. To the poor creature, enfeebled in mind and body, by secret practices, whose nerves are unstrung, and countenance downcast THE SARSAPARIULA AND Queen’s Delight is a blessing. Try it fairly, and your nerves will be restored to their wonted vigor, and your dejected countenance be made radiant with the conciousness of RESTORED MANHOOD. Being free from violent minerals, it is adapted to general use. The old and the young may use it; the %ost delicate female at any time may take it; tender infant, who may have inherited disease, jyijl be cur ed by it. Ayer's Sarsaparilla, FOB PIBIFFIIfCt THE BLOOD. • The reputation this ex g celtent medicine enjoys, is derived from its cures, §Lf~' many of winch are truly marvellous. Inveterate cases of Scrofulous dis /¥ ~j» ease, where the system seemed saturated with corruption, have been %>" purified and cured by it. Scrofulous affections and j. • h - vj.' disorders, which were ag gravated by the ecrofu fouß contamination until they were painftilly afflicting, have been radically oured in such great numbers in almost every sec tion of the country, that the public scarcely’ need to be informed of its virtues or uses. Scrofulous poison Is one of the most destruc tive enemies of our race. Often, this unseen and unfelt tenant of the organism undermines the con stitution, and invites tne attack of enfeebling or fa tal diseases, without exciting a suspicion of its presence. Again, it seems to breed infection throughout the body, and then, on some favorable occasion, rapidly develop into one or other of its hideous forms, either on the surface or among the vitals. In the latter, tubercles may be suddenly deposited in the lungs or heart, or tumors formed in the liver, or it shows its presence by eruptions on the foul ulcerations on some part of the body. Hence the occasional use of a bottle of this Sarsaparilla is advisable, even when no active symptoms of disease appear. Persons af flicted with the following complaints generally find immediate relief, and, at length, cure, by the use of this SARSAPARILLA: St. Antho ny's Fire, Hose or Erysipelas, Tetter, Salt Mneutn, Scald Mead, Mingicorm , Sore JEycs, Sore Ears, and other eruptions or visible forms of Scrofulous disease. Also in the more con cealed forms, as Dyspepsia, Dropsy, Heart Disease, Fits, Epilepsy, Neuralgia, and the various Ulcerous affections of the muscular and nervous systems. Syphilis or Venereal and MercuHal Dis eases are cured by it, though a long time is re quired for subduing these obstinate maladies by any medicine. But long-continued use of this medicine will cure the complaint. Ueucorrhaea or Whites, Uterine Ulcerations, and Female Diseases, are commonly soon relieved and ulti mately cured by its purifying and invigorating effect. Minute directions for each caee.are found In our Almanac, supplied gratis. Rheumatism and Gout, when caused by accumulations of ex traneous matters in the blood, yield quickly to it, as also Diver Complaints, Torpidity, Conges tion or Inflammation of theXirer, and Jaun dice, when arising, as they often do, from the rankling poisons in the blood. This BARSA FARIIjLA is a great restorer for the strength and vigor of the system. Those who are lan guid and listless, Despondent, Sleepless, and troubled with Nervous Apprehensions or Fears, or any of the affections symptomatic of Weakness, will find immediate relief and con vincing evidence of its restorative power upon trial.
