When this source is corrupted the painful effects sire visible in many shapes, prominent among which is SCROFULA. This is a taint or infection of the human organism, and probably no one is wholly free from it. It exhibits itself in various shapes—as Ulcers and Sores, Decayed Bones, Diseased Scalp, Sore Eyes, Weak and Diseas ed Joints. St. Vitus’ Dance. Foul Discharg es from the Nostrils, Eruptions, Glandular Swellings, Throat Affections, Rheumatism, Heart Affections, Nervous Disorders, Bar renness, Disorders of the Womb, Dropsy. Syphillitie Affections, Liver Complaint, Salt Rheum, Dyspepsia, Neuralgia, Loss of Man hood and General Debility. It has been the custom to treat these dis eases with Mercury and other Mineral sub stances, which, though sometimes producing a cure, often prove injurious and entails misery in after life. The long known inju rious properties of these so-called alteratives and purifiers has led the philanthropical man of science to explore the arena of na ture, the result of which has been the discov ery of vegetable products which possess the power of eradicating these Taints from the Blood. Dr. TUTT’S Compound Extract Os Sarparilla and Queen’s Delight, Is the acknowledged antidote to all Blood Diseases. By its use the afflictions above enumerated can bo permanently banished, and the Scarce—the Centre of Life—the Blood. be maintained in all its purity and vigor. For Dlicaiieit produced by the N«e of Mercury, and fur Syplifllitt, with It* train of evils, this com pound I# the only mire antidote. To the poor creature, enfeebled in mind and body, by secret practices, whose nerves are unstrung, and countenance downcast THE *AR*APAItILLA AND Quoou'h Bought is a blessing. Try it. fairly, and your nerves will be restored to their wonted vigor, and your dejected countenance be made radiant with the conciousness of RESTORED MANHOOD. Being free from violent, minerals, it is adapted to general use. The old and the young may use it; the most delicate female at any time may take it; the tender infant, who may have inherited disease, wiil be cur ed by it. FOR PURIFYING THE BLOOD USE DH. TUTT’S Extract of Sarsaparilla AND QUERY 9 * DELIGHT When used in the Spring it removes all hu mors which infest, the system ; and banishes the languor and debility peculiar to that sea son of the year. It acts promptly on the LIVER AND KIDNEYS, Producing a healthy action of the important organs by which all the impurities of the sys tem are carried off, and the result is A Clear Skin, a Good Appetite, and Bouyant Spirits, PREPARED BY WILLIAM H. Ayer’s Cherry Pectoral, For Diseases of the Throat and Dung#, such as Coughs, Colds, Whooping- Cough, Bronchitis, Asthma, and Consumption. Probably never before in the whole history of medicine, has any thing won so widely and so deeply upon the confidence of mankind, ns this excellent remedy for pulmonary complaints. Through a long series of years, and among most of the races of men it has risen higher and higher in their estimation, as it has become better known. Its uniform character and power to cure the va rious affections of the lungs .and throat, have made it known as a reliable protector against them. While adapted to milder forms of disease and to young children, it is at the time tiie most effectual remedy that can be given for incip ient consumption, and the dangerous affections of the throat and lungs. Asa provision against sudden attacks of Croup, it should be kept on hand in every family, and indeed as all are some* times subject to colds and coughs, ail should be provided with this antidote for them. Although settled Consumption- is thought in curable, still great numbers of rases whore tha disease seemed settled, have been completely cured, and the patient restored to sound health by the Cherry Federal. 80 complete is its mastery over the disorders of the Lungs and Throat, that the most obstinate of them yield to it. Whcu nothing else could reach them, under the Cherry Pectoral they subside and disappear. Singers and Public Speaker* find great protection from it. Asthma is always relieved and often wholly cured by it. Bronchitis is generally cured by taking the Cherry Pectoral in small and frequent doses. So generally are its virtues known, that we need not publish the certificates of them here, or do more than assure the public that its qualities are fully maintained. Ayer’s Ague Cure, For Fever and Ague, Intermittent Fever, Chill Fever, Bemittent Fever, Dumb Ague, Periodical or Bilious Fever, &c. t and indeed all the affections which arise from malarious, marsh, or miasmatio poisons. As its name implies, it does Cure, and does not fail. Containing neither Arsenic, Quinine, lug. ninth, Zinc, nor any other mineral or poisonous substance whatever, it in nowise injures any pa tient. The number and trapolance of its cures in the ague districts, arc literally beyond account, and we believe without a parallel In the history of Ague medicine. Our pride is gratified by the acknowledgments wc receive of tlie radical cures effected in obstinate cases, and where other rem edies had wholly failed* Unaoclimated’ persons, either resident in, or travelling through miasmatic localities, will bo protected by taking the AGUE CURE daily. For Liver Complaints, arising from torpid ity of the Liver, it is an excellent remedy, stimu lating the Liver into healthy activity. For Bilious Disorders aud Liver Complaints, it is an excellent remedy, producing many truly remarkable cures, where other medicines had failed. Prepared hy Dr. J. C.
