Some Seasonable Advice:
It may he a piece of superfluous
advice to urge people at thi i season
of th*> year to lay in a supply of
Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy. It is
almost sure to be needed before win
ter is over, and much more prompt
and satisfactory results are obtained
when taken as soon as a cold is con
tracted and before it has become set
tled in the system, which can only he
done by keeping the remedy at hand.
This remedy is so widely known and
so altogether good that no one should
hesitate about buying it in preference
to any other. It is for sale by Greene
Drug Cos. and M. F. Word.

Smoking by Women.
It is not to he denied that smok
ing is much on the increase among
women in England, and it is now
more or less an accepted fact and is
tolerated even in the most old fash
ioned houses. There is no doubt
that when indulged in moderation
its effects are beneficial, particular
ly to nervous, overstrained or over- 1
worked women, and the prejudice
against it is bound to disappear.—
