A Royal Mouth of Itoyal Disease
Sudden changes of weather are
especially trying, and probably to
none more so than to the scrofulous
and consumptive. The progress of
scrofula during a normal October is
commonly great. We never think of
scrofula its bunches cutaneous
emotions, and wasting of the bodily
substance—without thinking of the
great good many sufferers from it
have derived from Hood’s Sarsapa
rilla, whose radical and permanent
cures of this one disease are enough
to make it the most famous medicine
in the world. There is probably not
a city or town where Hood’s Sarsapa
rilla has not proved its merit in more
homes than one, in arresting ami
completely eradicating scrofula,
which is almost as serious ad as
much to be feared as its relative
—consumption.

CARRIE U.UIXHK JOMIS,
When the news first spread that
Cartersville was to lose one of her
most popular girls in Miss Evelyn
Jones, the regret was keen, for not
only in hex home and in her Cart
crsville circle of friends.was she
beloved, but wherever she has vis
ited her pretty face and genial dis
position had won her friends. The
details of taeceremouy which made
Miss Jones the bride of Mr. Burt
L. Sims, of Nashville, were ar
ranged for Wednesday afternoon,
at 5 o'clock, at the Methodist
church. These details were so
planned and so combined that a
typical wedding picture was made,
where beautiful women, gallant
men, the harmony of color, were
framed by flower and foliage and
pervaded by the soft-strains of mu
sic, which the sentiment
of love consecrated. ~~
The auditorium of the church
was crdwded, although no foriwfrl
invitations were issued in the city.
This iu itself was'evidenCd f of the
popularity of the bride and her
family. While the audience as
sembled, Mrs. A. B. Cunyus sweet

The groom, with fats' best man,
Mr. Ben Atwood, of Nashville, en
tered upon the left simultaneously
with the bride, who passed up the
right aisle upon the arm of her
brother, Mr. Beuharn Jones, who
gave her away at the altar.
Her wedding gown, a tailor suit
of blue cloth, with hat of velvet to
match, was mort becoming to the
stylish figure of this beautiful
young woman. She carried an
exquisite bouquet of lilies of the
valley and bride’s roses.
The uncle of the bride, Rev.
Sam P. Jones, performed the cere
mony, assisted by Rev. LT . C.
White, pastor or the First Presby
terian church.
From the church the way was
made at once to the train, followed
by a large number of the friends of
the bride and groom, with best
wishes for their future happiness.
Stops will be made at Richmond,
Washington and a number of other
places. Returning south, a visit
will be paid to Shelbyville, Tenn.,
where Mr. Sims introduces his
young wife to Iris family and
friends of his old home town.
After November Ist Mr. and
Mrs. Sims will be at home in Mo
