Mr. J: A. Stephens had on exhi
bition last week an ear of corn
from his farm on Pumpkinvine
creek, which measured inches
m length and weighed thiee pounds.
It bad 22 rows with 60 grains to
the row, making 1,320 grains. Mr.
Stephens says it is the largest ear
of corn he has ever raised, and that
he will give five dollars for a larger
one.
