VINOL WORTH tfIOOOTO A. J. RAKER
The Aged and all Sons and Daughters of Aged
People In Cartersville should he Interested.
Mr. A. J. Baker, of 713 Focust
street, Evansville, lud., writes: “I
believe there is no other medicine
equal to Vinol for elderly people.
I would not take S I,OOO for the
good it has done me. It makes
strength for the aged as no other
medicine seems to do, and invigo
rates the whole system. Vinol was
first recommended to me lor a bad
cough, which I could not seem to
get rid of. Vinol not only cured
my cough, but it made me strong
and well, and I eothiftiastically
indorse Vinol.”
Mr. M, F. Wood, our well-known
druggist, when interviewed in re
gard to this matter, said. ‘‘We
have never sold iu our-store such
a wonderful vitalizer and strength
maker for the aged as Vinol; it is
nature’s remedy for the sick, the
weak and the aged.
‘‘Vinol owes its virtue and great
medicinal power to the fact that it
contains in a highly concentrated
form all the active curative prop
erties of cod liver oil, without a
drop of the nauseating grease
which characterizes old-fashioned
cod liver oil and emulsions.
“Vinol acts first upon the stom
ach, toning it up, and enabling it
to obtain from the food eaten the
elements needed for rich, red blood,
healthy body material and sound,
steady nerves- In this way it re
pairs worn tissues, checks the nat
ural decline of the aged and never
fails to replace weakness with
strength.
“In the strongest manner we
, unhesitatingly indorse and guar
antee Vinol to increase the appe
tite, cure stomach troubles, give
strength and renewed vitality to
the aged, build up the run-down,
tired and debilitated, make the
weak strong, cure chronic coughs,
colds and build up the convales
cent, or I will return to the pur
chaser every dollar paid for it ”
M. F. Word, Druggist.
This seemed a strong statement
for a reliable druggist to make,
and we think every person in Cart
ersville ought to take advantage of
Mr, Word’s offer; as, of course, he
has a very wide knowledge of med
icines and what they will or will
not accomplish.—Editor.
C mgratulations.
Mr. John H. Cullom, editor of the
Garland, Texas, News, has written a
letter of congratulations to the man
ufacturers of Chamberlain’s Cough
Remedy as follows: “Sixteen years
ago, when our first child was a baby,
he was subject to cross spells, and
we would be very uneasy about him.
We began using Chamberlain’s Cough
Remedy in 1887, and, finding it such
a reliable remedy for colds and croup,
we have never been without it in the
house since that time. We have five
children, and have given it to all of
them with good results. One good
feature of this remedy is that it is not
disagreeable to take and our babies
really like it. Another is that it is
not dangerous, and there is no risk
from gi\ing an overdose I congrat
ulate you upon the success of your
remedy.” For sale by J. H. Gilreath

A grain of sand in the eye can
cause exquisite agony. A grain
of pepper m place of the grain of
sand intensifies the torment. The
pain is not confined to the organs
affected. The whole body feels
the shock of that little irritating
particle, It is so when there is
any derangement or disorder of
the delicate womanly organs. The
disorder may seem trivial, but the
whole body feels it. The nervous
system is disordered. There are
fretfulness, irritability, sullenness
and depression of 'spirits. The
general health of woman depends
on the local health erf th.‘organs
peculiarly feminine. Remove the
drains, ulcerations, bearing-down
pains and other afflictions of wo
man, and the whole body feels the
benefit. Dr, Pierce’s Pavorite Pre
scription is a specific for the dis
eases that undeimine the strength
of women. It is free from opium,
cocaine and other narcotics, poisons
which enter into many other prep
arations for woman’s use. It
makes weak women strong and
sick women well.
