Manufactured at Cartersville, Ga., by
Wholesale Mercantile l Cotton Cos.
Adopted by the Stilesboro Farmers’ Club at Their Last Meeting.
The TERRAPIN is a cotton seed meal mixed goods, and is free from
any filler or foreign substance, and is made of the highest grade Acids,
Cotton Seed Meal and Potash. These goods are being mixed right here
in your own county, and any one is at liberty to inspect same and see us
mix it. Our aim is only to make a pure fertilizer and one without a filler,
the filler being of no value and is usually composed of slate rock, cinders
and the like ; but the TERRAPIN will be free from any filler of any nature,
and is guaranteed.

Meeting Held at the Court House
Saturday.
PRIMARY APRIL TWENTIETH-
Managers of Election Apoolnted
for all the Districts and
Voting Places.
The Bartow County Democratic
Executive Committee met this day
pursuant to call of the chairman.
Present, John S. Leak, John H-
Wikle, Dr. M. D. Striplen, Dr. R.
E. Adair, S. McGuire, by I. Y.
Davis proxy, Geo. H. Headden,
C. M. Floyd and John A. Shiuall.
John S. Leak chairman, presid
ing and John H. Wikle was elected
secretary'.
The chairman stated the purpose
the meeting to determine the time
for holding the primary election
for county officers and members of
the house oi represeutatives, and
to provide for holding the primary
election for state house officers,
judges, etc., to be held April 20,
1904, as ordered bv state executive
committee and such other business
as may be necessary to transact.
After discussing these matters,
it was, on motion, ordered that the
primary election tor county officers
and members of the house of
representatives be held on April
20, 1904, the date fixed for the
state primary.
On motion, ordered that ad
ditional voting places be located
at Sugar Hill, Stilesboro and
Whites.
The following named persons
were appointed managers for said
primary:

It is ordered, that in the event,
any r of the managers appointed fail
to serve, the committeeman of the
district is authorized to fill the
vacancy, and in his absence the
remaining managers shall fill the
vacancy.
Ordered, that the chairman and
secretary assess each candidate a
reasonable sum to defray the ex
penses of holding the primary
election; providing tickets, voting
lists, stationery, blanks and other
expenses that may be incurred,
and the name of no candidate shall
be placed upon the ticket who has
not paid the assessment.
Ordered, that the managers bring
up the returns by noon cn the 21st
of April, 1904, for consolidation at
the court house at Cartersville. -
It is requested that each district
suggest a committeeman for the
ensuing two years, to be voted for
by the managers bringing up the
returns.
Adjourned to April 21st at 10
o’clock a. in., unless sooner called
by the chairman.
