NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that on the 7th day of Novem
ber, 2017, an election will be
held at the regular polling
places in all the election dis
tricts of Turner County, Geor
gia, at which time there will be
submitted to the qualified vot
ers of Turner County, Georgia,
for their determination the
question of whether a one per
cent county special purpose
local option sales and use tax
(the "SPLOST") shall be im
posed on all sales and uses in
the special district created in
Turner County, Georgia, for a
period of six years, for the rais
ing of approximately
$5,400,000.00 for the purpose
of funding capital outlay proj
ects specified in the form of the
ballot below; such tax to be im
posed only upon the termina
tion of the special 1 % tax
currently in effect in Turner
County.
Voters desiring to vote for the
imposition of said special pur
pose local option sales tax for
the purpose set forth above
shall do so by voting "YES"
and voters desiring to vote
against the imposition of said
tax for such purpose shall do so
by voting "NO" as to the ques
tion propounded, to-wit:
