An Explanation.
On account of being late in
getting the copy of the prize
list as published for the Decatur
couty fair last week, the paper
was delayed to some extent and
also in the rush in getting the
list set up some errors were
made, and there were one or
two ommissionsj that the office
regrets very much.
One of the ommissions was
that of naming the pigs that
were on the list of prize winners.
These pigs, “Red Durocs,” were
entered by Mr. Tom McCall, of
Attapulgus, and were one of the
most attractive features on ex
hibition. The pigs are only
three months old, one of them
weighing 106 pounds, the other
112 pounds. If all the farmers
in the county would stock their
farms with this breed of hogs or
some other large breedjthe output
of meat from the county!would
be almost doubled.

A Card From Mrs. Pridgen
Eldorendo, Ga.
Sept. 25, 1911.
Editor Search Light,
Dear Sir:—Please give space
in this week’s issue for me, in
behalf of the W. M. U. of the
Bowen Association, to thank the
womenin Bainbridge for their
hospitality.
They welcomed us to their city,
their church, their homes and
seemingly their hearts.
I' do not want them to think
for one moment that their wel
come was lost or thrown to the
winds for it gives us strength to
go out and struggle to win souls
for Him who said: “In-as-much
as ye did it unto one of the least
of these, my brethren, ye did it
unto me.”
The meeting in Bainbridge
will go with us into eternity and
will be just such a bright ray as
some of us weaker ones need to
cheer and help us on.
Let us work more earnestly
than ever dear sisters, for the
Master, being assured that God
will bless our labors, give us vie
tory and gain the glory of sin-
sick souls for Himself.
Sincerely signed,
Mr?. W. J. Pridg6n.
