Mr. Charlie Jackson succeeded
in killing a large rattlesnake in
his field Tuesday. The snake
bit his dog and the dog died in a
few hours. The serpent was six
feet long and had nine rattles.
George Jones attended the P.
B. association at Midland, City,
Ala., Saturday and Sunday. He
will vijit Graceville and Panama
City before returning.

Co. This company received this
week to more cars of the same
manufacture and they will likely
make other sales soon.

The Caldwell Motor Car Co.,
who have the agency for the
Hupmobile, will receive a car
load of these popular cars the
first of October. Place your

Mr. B. P. Oglesby came over
yesterday and brought some cot
ton. He says he is not at all
satisfied with present prices, but
like many others, he is hoping it
will be better before long.
Mr. M. E. Cloud was in the
city yesterday, having brought
in some cotton for sale.
Mr. J. T. Saunders of Fair

spent the day in Bainbridge.
Mr. Duncan Curry of Climax
has just begun the erection of a
beautiful residence at that place.
It is said it will be one of the
prettiest homes in the county
when finished.

was a visitor in the city yester

day yesterday in Bainbridge.
