A meeting of the Executive

came up from the lower part of
this county and from Florida,
and it is understood that a most
interesting and important session
was held.
Mrs. J. M. Scott and daughter,
M«ss Jessie Mildred, have re
turned from a stay of some time
at White Springs, Fla.

about the 5th of October, with a

Goods and Ladies’ Ready-to-

Mr. J. M. Laing has returned
from New York, where he has
spent several weeks buying his
fall stock of goods. Mr. Laing
reports a most interesting and
delightful trip and says he suc
ceeded in buying goods at a price
where he can make it mighty in-
eresting to his custom/ra.
Mr. Henry J. Bruton has re
turned from New York where he
spent several weeks purchasing
the immense stock of goods now
arriving at the Flint River Store.
Mr. Bruton knows just what the
trade of this section needs, and
he always makes it a point to
keep such a stock on hand for
the customers to select from.
The Flint River Store, already
one of the largest in the South,
grows greater each season.

Store Improvements.
Mr. H. G roll man, one of the
hustling merchants on Water
street, is making considerable
improvements on his building.
He is having a plate glass froi t

the prettiest store rooms in the
city.
Mr. Grollman, like many oth
ers, believes this is going to be
one of the best falls for trade
that Bainbridge has seen in sev
eral years.
