AN ORDINANCE.
Be it ordained by the Mayor
and the Aldermen of the City of
Bainbridge that from and after
the passage of this] ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for any per
son, firm or corporation to erect
or maintain any sign extending
over or across the sidewalks or
streets cf the City of Bainbridge,
and to refuse or fail to take
down any such sign formely
erected and now being maintain
ed over or across said sidewalks
or streets, a failure to comply
with this ordinance shall author
ize the Chief of Police to and he
shall immediately take down
such sign. All violations of this
ordinance shall be punished as
provided in section 430 of
code.

The city tax books will be
closed on Jan. 1st 1913. After
that time executions will be is
sued against all persons who have
not paid their taxes. The city
officials urge everyone who has
not done so to pay their taxes

It appearing to the Court, that
on account of the large amount
of business appearing on thf
dockets of this Court, both civi-
and criminal, that it is necessary
to hold an adjourned term of
this Court;
It is therefore ordered and ad
judged that an adjourned term
of this Court be held to b n ir r
on the second Monday in Febru
ary 1913, at 10 O’clock A. M.
for the trial and disposition of
all civil and criminal business,
and ordered futher, that all con
tinuances of Civil or Criminal
cases granted at the present
term of the Court shall only have
the effect of continuing such
eases until such adjourned term.
And the Clerk of this Courtis
directed to prepare and distribute
m calendar of the civil cases
standing on the docket for trial
at such adjourned term; and it
further appearing that it is im
possible for the Grand. Jury to
finish their business at this term,
ft is ordered that the Grand
Jurors serving at the present
term appear and resume their
duties at such adjourned term,
and futher ordered that panels
of forty jurors be drawn for each
the first and second week of such
adjourned term, and ordered
futher that this order be publish
ed in the newspapers of Deca
tur County, for one month.
