Thornton as a candidate for solicitor of the city court appears elsewhere in this issue of the Post-Search Light. Mr. Thornton is a prominent member of the local bar and has friends galore who recognizing his legal ability will back him at the pells in March. Mr. Thornton has been a mem ber of the local bar for over 12 years and during this time has demonstrated his knowledge of the law. If elected Col. Thornton pro poses to file the accusation against parties with the cierk as soon as they are made that the defendant may become acquaint ed with the charge and prepare a defense. He also proposes to use all possible dispatch in hand ling cases so as to eliminate long wait in jail by parties unable to give bond. Bad Habits. Re sides this I served four years on the Board of Education in direct contact with the county common school sys tem.
