LISTEN: MR. POOR MAN
At this time when Money is so scarce you are naturally
wondering how you can make the little money you have
hold out though the Spring and Summer. Listen, take it
to the store that offers you the best price; where everything
is marked in plain figures and where you get many things
at half and less than half, what the same merchandise
would cost you at other places. Don’t take our word, but
come and see for yourself, as most of your neighbors are
doing.
Below we quote just a few prices which we hope will
give you some idea of the great values we are now offering,
but our line being made up ot thousands of small items,
we cannot possibly tell you about them all in so short a
space,

MASONS AT JAKIN
Friday last was a big day at
Jakin among the Masons and a
splendid attendance of the mem
bers of the Lodge on this occa
sion greeted three men who
were made Master Masons at
this meeting.
From 30 to 35 members of the
Lodge wont down to Jakin head
ed by Rev. B. E. Whitington and
JVlr. Bridges, prominent Masons
of that section. Past Grand
Master Wylie of Thomasville
was among those present and
his assistance was very much
appreciated on that evening. A
splendid supper was served by
the ladies and a general good
time pulled off.
Why Constipation Injures.
The bowels are the natural
sewerage system of the body.
When they become obstructed
by constipation a part of the
poisonous matter which they
should carry off is absorbed into
the system, making you feel dull
and stupid and interfering with
the digestion and assimilation of
food. This condition is quickly
relieved by Chamberlain’s
Tablets. Obtainable everywhere.
COLDS & LaGRIPPE
5 or 6 doses 660 will break
any case of Chills & Fever, Colds
& LaGrippe; it acts on the liver
better than Calomel and does not
gripe or sicken. Price 25c.
