BIG ATTENDANCE Manager Brackin of the Calla han has had the famous moving picture “The Birth of a Nation on in this city this week and the attendance from all over the section has been remarkable. Manager advertised the picture very freely and the people that were drawn represented a goodly portion of the population of the outlying towns and cities. The picture is a remarkable one and a story that ought to be seen and read by every true-born and reared Southerner. The last show on the picture was Wed nesday night. Two matinees were pulled otf one on Monday and Tuesday evenings OF I wish to thank my friends for the great kindness and respect I shown to me during the awful sickness and death of my be- tMoved husband. All former record hO|ders were much larger and higher priced cars. Another Remarkable Demonstration of Buick Speed, Power, Endurance and Reliability The extraordinary time made by the Buick Six up the long hard Rradea, over rough mountain passes, fording streams and racing over miles of desolute des ert in its intercity dash was no surprise to us. We knew that the Buick valve in head motor was capable of driving the car at a continued speed of more than sixty miles per hour when called upon. Wealso knew that the Buick chassis, notwithstanding the continued heavy hammering over rough roads at unusual speed, would be in the same perfect condition at the finish as at the start. By this remarkable performance we have demonstrated to the public the superiority of Buick construction. NOT A MISHAP ON THE ENTIRE SENSATIONAL RUN proving perfect ignitation, perfect carburetion, perfect lubrication, perfect cooling system, perfect construction and design.
