If the merchant desires the farmer’s produce and will pay cash tor it, doubtless the farmer may ap preciate the fact to the extent of making some cash purchase in return, the transaction will at least encourage tarm interest and create a personal friendship which may mean increased trade radius and a larger commercial business. A CASH MARKET FOR BAINBRIDGE A cash market for Bainbridge must mean a new trade incentive to the farmers of Decatur and surrounding counties. Equipped with automobiles the farmers are becoming more and more in dependent of trade relations on account of easy access to favorite points. On the other hand the larger cities through newspaper and personal advertising are at tracting I lie attention of the farmer and offering ; special dis counts and trade inducement. That they desire for themselves, their associates and successors to be incorporated and made a body politic under the name and style of Richard son Enoinkkri.no Constkccti.ng Company for the period of twenty years. 2nd The principal office of said com pany shall be in the city of Bainbrldge, Slate and county aforesaid, but peti tioners desire the right to establish branch offices within this State or else where, whenever the holders of a ma jority of the stock may so determine. 3rd. The object of said corporation is pecuniary gain to itself and its share- holders. 4th. The nusiness to be carried on by said corjioration is a general engineer ing and constructing business and to build houses and structures of every character or kind by contract or other wise, also to engage in constructing bridges and cause-wavs, alsc to per form such services as are usually done in a general architectural business. 6th. The capital stock of said corpor ation shall lie Ten thousand dollars, wilh the privilege of increasing same to Twenty-five thousand by a majority vote of the stock holders, said stock to he divided into shares of One hundred dollars each. Ten per cent of the amount of the capital stock to be em ployed by them has been actually paid in. Moultrie, June 14.—By hit ting when hits meant runs, Moultrie defeated Bainbridge this afternoon, 5 to 1. Frentz made his debut on the mound for the locals and although he gave up nine hits they were so well dis- | tributed and this, together with the gilt-edge support he received.
