These homes stand in the P. S. Cum mings sub-division where it is understood that other handsome homes may soon be erected. On Broughton street a two story six room frame residence is nearing completion and or. an adjoining lot another house is be ing remodeled. These two pro perties owned by Ashley and Winn of Valdosta are valuable improvements to that part of the city. Other residences completed during the year are those of C. E. Kelly situated on Scott Street; J. H. Hilton situated on College Street and H. W. Olive on Scott Street. Several negro houses were also completed during the ytar by H. L. Hill, Mrs. L.
