daughter, Miss Leila, spent last
Wednesday night with Mr. D.
Turnage and family.

Mrs. C. G. Coleman, Mrs.
Charlie Coleman, Jr., and Miss
Velma Turnage, went shopping
to Butlers, last Tuesday.
Mr. Homer Clarke, is sick this
week. We wish for him a quick
recovery.
The farmers pressed quite a
fine lot of hay in this section
last week in spite of the nice
little rains we so much needed.
Mr. C. R. Coleman, made a
business trip to Donalsonville
last Friday.
Little Miss Ruby Earnest
spent Friday with Miss X. L'
Mr. A. J. McMullen, happen
ed to a serious accident last
week while working with his
automobile. Some thing like a
little valve spring jumped out
of the tire and striking him in
the eye. We are glad the sight
was uninjured.
Chester Paugh of near Re
covery, was over here Saturday
and Sunday.
The singing convention meets
at Spring Creek Church next
Sunday Sept. 10th.
Mr. Edd Burke, of Lakeland,
was out here to see his daught
er, Ida, last Wednesday.
Mrs. W. B. Barber and little
infant is sick at this writing,
