ELECTION FOR TIE SCHOOf TRUSTEES It is hereby ordered that an election for five school trustees will be held at the court nouse on Wednesday October, 4, 1916, said election to be held under the same rules and regulations governing other city elections. Two of said trustees shall be elected for a period of one year, and three for two years. In accordance with the Act of the Legislature passed in 1879 only those registered voters shall be allowed to vote who own bona fide real estate, in fee simple, in said city; and also such persons actual residents, who have given in for taxation, to the city, for the year in which the election takes place, at least $500.00 of personal property. The capcity of all three of these live concerns has been taxed all day to entertain the ladies of the section. Three most splendid lines of millinery are open for inspection and t hree sets of salesladies and men have been busy since early morning show ing the lines to several hundred ladies from every point of the compass. The Bainbridge millinery store are all known far and wide for their up-to-dateness and complete understanding of what good dressing needs. Miss Story at the Ladies Shop, Miss Hess at Haddon’s and Miss Willie at the Famous are all ex perienced milliners and they have selected for the local trade splendid lines that have met the approval of the people.
